Northwest Panay Peninsula Natural Park of the Philippine Island


Philippines is country very rich in terms natural resources. Many different plants and animals are can be only seen here. Different beautiful island like the island of Boracay is what is in there. The Northwest Panay Peninsula Natural Park is another example. The Northwest Panay Peninsula Natural Park was located in the Philippines island. It is located in the Visayas region in the provinces of  Aklan and Antique. The Northwest Panay Peninsula was proclaimed as national park in the year 2002 by the president of that year Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. The Northwest Panay Peninsula Natural Park has a total area of 120.09 square kilometer.the Northwest Panay Peninsula Natural Park was a home of a wide range of flora and fauna of Visayas. Different kinds of animals also lived there in the place like Visayan leopard cat, Visayan Warty Pig,Visayan spotted Deer,Negros bleeding heart dove,Blue Naped Parrot,Visayan hornbill,Waldens Hornbill and the Panay monitor The Natural park is also a water basin in the place. The Northwest Panay Peninsula Natural Park forest is the outline path of the rain water going o the springs and river in the place which provide water for the 100,000 inhabitants. The water of the famous Boracay island is also provided by the Northwest Panay Peninsula watershed. The Philippines is blessed of this beautiful natural resources so we Filipino need to preserve and protect it. Preserving this one of the beautiful places in our country is what we need to do. Having it preserved for the next generation will be a great gift for them.
